
It was decided to select a CFP label as a result of the first meeting of the Study Group for Development and Promotion of CFP Program held in June 2008. Ideas for the CFP label design were invited from the public and the design was chosen from 515 public applications. Products carrying the CFP label were put on the market in October 2009.

The motif of this Label is a kitchen scale. CO2 (GHG) is not visible but it is scalable. I will be glad if people visualize the image of consciously scaling the CO2 (GHG) when they look at this label.
