General Principles for the Assessment and Labeling of Carbon Footprint of Products (TS Q 0010)

"Basic Guideline of the Carbon Footprint of Products (CFP)" which provides the calculation and communication method of the CFP etc. was developed by the Study Group on Rules for Calculation, Labeling and Evaluation of CO2 (GHG) Emissions. The guideline was compiled by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and issued as TS Q 0010 by the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee (JISC) in April 2009.

Rules Concerning the Registration of Draft PCR Development Plan and Approval of PCR

These rules prescribe a series of procedures related to the registration of a PCR Development Plan and approval of the PCR. The PCR Development Plan is used in the CFP Calculation & Labeling Pilot Program that is a part of the CFP Pilot Project.

Rules Concerning the Verification of CFP Calculation Results and Labeling Method

These rules prescribe a series of procedures related to the verification of the CFP calculation results and labeling method based on the approved PCR. These rules are for the CFP Calculation & Labeling Pilot Program that is a part of the CFP Pilot Project.

Specifications of CFP Label and Displaying Other Information

This document defines specifications about the contents of a label to show the CFP based on the approved PCR and other information. This document is prepared for the CFP Calculation & Labeling Pilot Program that is a part of the CFP Pilot Project.
