This PCR Library can be a useful and powerful tool that offers “access many existing PCRs”. This has been prepared by JEMAI, supported by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan.
JEMAI is a member of Global Type III Environmental Product Declarations Network (GEDnet), which is an international non-profit organization of Type III environmental declaration organizations and practitioners established in 1999.
The idea of PCR library was brought up among GEDnet members, agreeing on the wish to have database of PCRs.
Considering the rapidly increasing interest on PCR due to standardization activities of carbon footprint of products, even simple PCR collection web site like this is considered as valuable. In the future, PCRs should be managed as decent database. But for a while, it is hoped that this tentative web site could be useful.
